School Canteen Software

This software is for the day-to-day operation of an on-line School Canteen (or Store such as Uniform Shop) where ordering and payments (via PayPal) are accepted as well as on-site Kiosk operation.

School Canteen/Store System and Source Code is made available for free within the Public Domain for any School. This Software may not be resold, commercialised outside of an individual school operation, or used for financial gain other than for the operation of a School Canteen i.e. you cannot exploit this work for commercial gain. Custom Development/Support is available via arrangement with the Author.

The software is developed using PHP (7.4 or higher) with the addition of JQuery (3.4.1) and Boostrap (4). The code will support operation on either MySQL or MSSQL (MySQL is recommended). PayPal is implemented as the payment gateway. SAML is used as the means of authentication.

You must install and support your own PHP Web Server and Database Server. These can both reside on the same machine or virtual Server. Any Server architecture supporting PHP and MySQL (or MSSQL) can be used.

This software is developed by Gerard Dunning. No implied support is offered however contracted development and support is available by prior arrangement.

This software is made available in the Public Domain for the sole purpose of a Single School Canteen/Store Operation. It may not be sold or operated commercially as a broader service to multiple schools or other organisations.
