Gerard Dunning Actor

Gerard’s love for theatre began in 1970s New Zealand, where he performed in The Wizard of Oz and Oliver. His first major lead came in 1987 as Will Parker in Oklahoma!, launching a long run of standout roles in Show Boat, Evita and West Side Story. Alongside acting, he has also played in orchestras for shows such as Jesus Christ Superstar. Gerard holds an Associate Diploma in Performing Arts from Trinity College London and has performed with many respected production companies over the years.

His credits span musicals including Les Misérables and Chicago, as well as plays such as Picasso at the Lapin Agile and The Full Monty. In 2025 he appeared in the television series Bump, Strife and Sunny Nights, and in the film I Know What You Did Last Summer. In 2026 he will feature in 3 episodes of The Killings: Parrish Station.
